Lee Hi n’a que 19 ans, et n’était pas la gagnante de l’émission Kpop Star 1. Celle qui est arrivée en seconde position de ce concours pour trouver la prochaine star coréenne du moment a signé en 2012 avec la compagnie YG, connue pour abriter des artistes tels que PSY, AKMU (issus de kpop star 2), ou Big Bang. Quatre ans plus tard, sa nouvelle chanson, étrangement écrite par un membre d’un boys band connu, ne cesse de se balader dans ma tête… et en ces temps si difficiles pour tout le monde, ces paroles m’ont plus que touchée.
Lee Hi is only 19 years old, and didn’t win Kpop Star 1. The talented runner-up signed in 2012 with the famous Korean entertainment company YG, home of artists such as PSY, AKMU or Big Bang. Four years later, I can’t stop humming her new ballad, written & composed, weirdly enough, by a (very talented indeed) famous boys band’s member. And maybe because of these hard times… but I was really moved by the lyrics.
